China is pumping out the military RCs this year. Here's another attempt that's a little more costly. https://www.banggood.com/HG-P801-P80...p-1332230.html Last edited by Brake Weight; 11-06-2018 at 03:48 PM. |

Interesting for sure, but that’s serious money. I think I’d rather invest in a better chassis at that price point.

Cross R/C? Looks very similar to the two Cross 8 wheelers.

Have this on thew way and the hummer on the workbench. They are pretty good quality but need to be made mine. I have to figure out a way to regear them for lower top and much more torque, the hummer is a little too much like the real thing, and I plant to use the P801 to drag a fairly hefty trailer full f other vehicles to my cralw spots. Any tips or ideas? |

Shortly after my last post the truck kit and trailer kit came in. I still need to do some weathering and the detail items. But I think she looks good in green and has the working crane. I opted to lock the rear differentials, and disable the shift servo changing it's function to operating the 5th wheel clamp. The truck is locked in low gear.
