| shock spring deal?
Just read a thread about setting up the XRC chassis and the importance of suspension setup. So I started looking for springs for my clod so that I can try and get some droop. First hit was this: http://www.rchobbies.org/complete_spring_set_tmax.htm Are these any good for us? Or a waste? I guess the better question is what rate are the red tmaxx springs? That would help in the comparison. rash |

the stock reds are 2.5 lb/in tension and most people can be found running them and i wouldend buy those springs at most just get some associated green or losi whites. |

depends on a couple things first of all the shock you are running associated springs wont work on a hot body, integy or traxxas shock (to narrow) check out spirng rates on some sites losi whites are 1.8 pretty soft for the tail of a rig. most guys will throw them on the front of a tlt but i dont know about a clod???????? i would probably just start raiden a few differnet losi springs, blue, yellow, pink, silver, etc. give those a try. its really just trial and error for your set up, so get testing! |
