Default Noob to the wraith

I have a question for those with a OG wraith 2.2

Where did you mount the esc?

The motor wires are a PITA to connect unless I'm missing something

Under the hood. Make a small plate that’ll bolt down there.

I mounted my ESC, receiver, light controller, and battery under the hood on an electronics plate from Wertymade https://www.rpphobby.com/ProductDeta...ductCode=WM-08 but there's lots of other choices out there. I also have switched just about all of my cars over to 4mm bullets for motor to esc connections, much easier to fully plug/unplug than the cheesy auto parts store bullets used on most rtr's. Something like this: https://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/cseccbul43.htm

Another option if you have lost your interior like me and have no desire to replace it, slide the battery tray forward and rebolt it so it cantilevers over the transmission and you can mount the esc above the motor. This is assuming you have the battery under the hood already. I mainly did this because my esc is so damn big (tekin rx But i recommend an electronic plate like most use, i even use one in my son's wraith (still has his interior)
