| Ripper/ Axial Clone?
As I could never spend 9,999.00 on a true Ripper I'm curios if anyone has seen a clone frame/body panels being made that are close? Thinking it would be nice to build a Axial based Ripper wanna-be.

That's a particularly hard one to match. The Ripper has a machined aluminum "tube" chassis that, as far as I know, hasn't been done by any other manufacturer. It certainly takes a whole lot more machining time and involves a lot more wasted material than just about any other part in the rc world, which is why it costs more than a house in Detroit. If you'd be content with a better than average Chinesium chassis, the TFL Unicorn kinda has a similar look. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/tfl-unic...buggy-kit.html |
