Alternative Cage for Pro-Line Hilux SR5

Hi Y'all, is there a cheaper alternative to the pricy Pro-Line cage for their Hilux SR5 cab?? I have an Injora cage on hand and unfortunately it's too wide. I was thinking one from Cross RC might work https://www.crossrc.us/shop/sr-4-roll-cage/ Does anyone know if it fits??

The Ascender cage is 7 5/8" wide x 4 3/4" tall and the SR5 cab looks quite close to that width though the height is off (SR5 is taller). I havent test fitted it though.

Great 7 5/8" wide at the door handles would EXACTLY match the SR5! Would you also know how wide the Ascender cage is at the top mounting points? The SR5 cab is 5 3/8" at the pre-made indentations for the cage mounting holes.

I can take another look when I'm off work. Seemed like it may work good width wise and with the angle of the B pillar, except the height is a bit low on the Ascender cage.


Well I just did an image search and found a build thread that has pictures

It looks like the height difference isnt that big of an issue if you line up the tops instead of the bottoms (cage to body)
