I know a lot of people setup courses or rock gardens at their house so let’s see everyone’s setup.. Here is a couple pics of mine. It’s more of a rock garden than a actual course but it has hundreds of lines... i find myself out here quite a bit lately Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Man that is saweeeeet. I'd have to make little markers on the rocks so I could run the same line to test things/tires/shocks and what not. Did you have those dumped there or just found them?

I live on my wife’s family farm and those are rocks her grandparents dug out of the ground around the house and pasture. They have been useless since the mid 80s until now. lol. there are a couple piles like this on the property but this one is close to the house. I also have some creek beds to mess around in I’m stoked they are there cause i can go run the rig whenever i want.. Usually more than i should! Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That’s the absolute beauty of it! You can go out and instantly test out new mods or tinkering you’ve done. You don’t have to plan time aside to go wheeling. Just go. I’m crawling in under a minute of walking out the front door. I love your course. Last edited by Benp; 03-10-2021 at 08:21 AM.

In progress at the local R/C spot. The big track area becomes a bunch of lakes when it rains so figured I would collect some of the trash/debri/wood that idiots leave around and make a course. 20210312_163359 by Randy Schisler, on Flickr 20210312_165110 by Randy Schisler, on Flickr 20210225_165321 by Randy Schisler, on Flickr |

These are some great looking courses! I really need to get busy on making one this year! It would be so nice to just walk out the back door to run and test the rigs. Sure beats driving 40 minutes to the nearest spot like I have to do now! Keep the pics coming! Need more cool ideas! |

I moved to a house on a 9 acre lot in the fall. After getting settled, I started cutting some trail into the woods. I did as much as I could before the ground froze up. I'm targeting about a 1km loop. The primary use is walking / hiking, but I'm making the trail as interesting as I can for tiny trucks as well. I take advantage of natural obstacles where I can. Once the trail is done, I will probably shift a little more focus to building additional tiny truck obstacles, with a focus on using natural materials. The temperatures are warming, and the snow is melting, so hopefully I can get back to trail building soon. Here's a video from the fall. |
