| 10 Pole Brushless
I'm seeing 3brothers has released 10-pole sensorless motor. Is the there a considerable difference in the smoothness in this 10pole vs say a 6pole? Thinking at some point sensored motors won't be worth it if they just keep increasing the amount of poles in these motors...... |

My understanding of it is as you increase the amount of poles you lose drag brake ability. I know outrunner motors have high pole count but they also have more space to cram extra poles into it because they are on the outside not a tiny rotor on the inside

I got one of each of their 10 pole motors. The 1600kv non-sensored one shipped on monday, so hopefully I'll be able to test it out this weekend. I'll let you know what I think.
