Default G-crawlers Gmade project!

Hello!

Im new into this hobby, but i seen a lot of movies and im hooked! I have always liked 1:1 crawling and off road cars and when i did see rc crawling i liked it a lot!

I bought a Gmade spider and built the chassie up and it seem to be a pretty good "newbie" chassie to me, but i didnt like the gmade tires and wheels couse they seem to be way to wide, maybe they work good but it made the truck look funny! so i orderd some rc4wd 3.2" beadlocks and some Imex red rocks are on the way, i thougt about moabs at first but red rocks seem to be a better choice for the terrain i got around here.
Also got a set of shocks from rc4wd.

I just need to order the electronics now and wire it up then i should be good to go! Maybe need some help on wireing..but hey thats whats forums is about tho isnt it?

Well i post 2 pics of it in its present look...

When you put the tires on the rims take the time to look at the length of the screws that hold the lock ring on. Mine were a little to short, had to use 4 longer screws to draw the ring down and then put the provided screws in. I also installed LSTs on them and the bead is very thick, to the point where I had to turn the tire inside out cut the thickness of the bead in half and then install. I don't know how redrocks will fit. Just a heads up.

Default First run with my crawler

Well finally got the gmade spider reday to crawl! And all i can say about this hobby it that is awsome! I had soo much fun today! But i think i need a set of wheels to fit some moab xl:s on, the red rocks didnt seem to be that good on rocks! but in loose terrain they worked well!

Got some pics for the first run, i took them with my mobile phone in the dark so they are kind of blurry, but anyway here they are, get some better tomorrow and maybe a lil film clip! enjoy!

I'd loose the front and rear bumpers............my old TXT had 1/4" steering links as well as 4 link bars and it will help out your approach and departchure(sp) angles................less to habg up on too!!
