I love their products, but their customer service policy's are not great at all. Trying to get a warranty repair is like pulling teeth and then the shipping both ways does not even make it worth it so your stuck buying a replacement part yourself and the time wasted fixing it yourself. Anyways i've found Castle Creations, Traxxas and axial have proper customer service. Any other people have similar experiences? |

Tower hobbies has exceptional customer service, best I've dealt with. At least they used to, haven't dealt with them since Horizon took over. Amain has been great too. Both are retailers though, so take it as you will. Tamiya and VP have both been sub-par for me. Both seemed to have the mindset of "our products don't have defects, it must be you, idiot." RC4WD was a joke as well. I will say I've been buying Tamiya products for 30 years - lots of them - and have only had to contact them 1 time ever for a bad part. That's pretty impressive in my book. |
