Default Changing my Crawler into a Basher

Well I think that I want to change my Crawler to a Basher/Part Time Crawler, So I am looking for a little more speed but still have the torque to get over obstacles.

Right Now I am looking at two motors the Integy Matrix 35T Lathe Motor and the Integy Matrix V10 TwinTurbo 27T Stock Motor or other 27T motor, Currently I have the 55T motors but they are really to slow.

I am how ever leaning towards the Integy Matrix V10 TwinTurbo 27T Stock Motor just for the extra speed but will that have enough torque to do some crawling? I also am using 8.4v 3600mah packs so I was wondering
what the run times might be like, currently I get about 1 hour on a pack...

I used p2k stock motors in a clod for a while. It had decent basing speed, and still way able to crawl decently. Run time for me with 1x 7.2 nimh and 2 motors was about 20 mins.

id say if you can afford it go with a novack brushless crawler kit. they have more than enough speed and can crawl when you need it, if they are a little slow you can up the pinion for more speed.

I would but right now you need 2 esc's to run 2 motors so that would be about 5-600 dollars, but I have heard that Novak is working on a 2 motor BL system so I will wait for that to come out then I will venture into the BL world :-P...

Get some 45t motors and run 12v. Torque and speed.

i thought this might be a clod crawler and went back through to check and didnt see anything saying it was. but still the novack brushless crawler kit is turning out to me a good all around system.

i was able to crawl my couch with my stock silver cans and clod tires, what do you need more turns for

Id probably say dual 19 turn motors and just play with gearing a little.
