| rock crawler plans
I was talking to a guy at work and he thinks that he could fabricate an electric rock crawler, using some bought parts. Since we are both new and don't really uderstand too much about this he wants to know if anyone has plans to build one? Like parts you would need and whatever else may help also he just wanted to know if anyone sells fabricated crawlers.

i doubt it, we all use stock RTR trucks and no need for someone to sell fabricated crawlers since everything is stock |

If you go with a clod dont even bother with a complete kit cuz all you want are the axles. Buy the axles from ThunderTech Racing, part # TAM-101, or #TAM-102 if you want wheels and tires. http://www.thundertechracing.com/catalog.htm or Ebay. Then buy or build a chassis. Read the posts in this site, there are lots of people who have detailed what they did to their trucks and there a lots of questions about motors, esc's, radios, chargers, and batteries. In the clodbuster section, skoolbus has a huge post with lots of pics on how he built a chassis. |
