| compare 1:6 and 1:18
hi, I wanted to know the difference between 1:6 and 1:18. I know that 1:18 don't have porportional control, are smaller, manual trans, and a smaller batt, but what about tire size and speed and torque?

The 1/6 has a better center of gravity. Other than that, I think they perform about the same on obstacles their size.

from my knowledge... the 1/18 is cheaper the 1/6 has a better electronics setup the 1/18 has more options for bodies, cause a 1/10 scale body on a 1/6 scale trucks doesn't look right, but with 2.2's the 1/18 can look good with a 1/10 scale body the 1/18 is also easier (IMO) to upgrade... coming from a Newb point of view I happen to like the 1/18 better... the 1/6 is just a little too big. I'd say that when it comes right down to it, personal preference is the biggest factor. |
