Default Gear Lube?

What kind of gear lube does everyone use? I ran out of the ceramic grease abd was thinking of using some 300k diff lock grease....

Anything works well in a crawler, from wheel bearing grease to auto gear oil ive used basically evertything and it works fine.

not sure, i usually take out the check plug and add in some 85 weight oil


i just run your basic grease like for ball joints and crap in mine.. i just lightly cover the gears and go. never had a problem with mine

I use wheel bearing grease for 1:1's and some cutting fluid. They both work well.
