Default how to water proof

yes i used the search button but came up with how to waterproof electronics but not axles and tranny.. can someone help me!!!

lowes and homedepot have water proof silicone i would try some of that maybe

This is exactly why silicone sealer was invented! Just go to Lowes and ask the guys there for some Silicone Sealer. They will know what your talking about, and take you right to the stuff.

I don't think it is nessesary to worry about the axles or the tranny you may get a rusty bearing or 2, just replace them when you find them and you'll be good.

no need to waterproof those man. if youre really worried about it use bushings and silicone the outers and the edge of the axle case. for the (pede?) trans just put liquid electrical tape around the two case halves and slilcone around the outer race of a rubber sealed bearing of the diff shafts and the spur shaft.
