Default Backyard Crawling Track

I've received approval to take over a corner of the backyard for a rock crawling course for practice and testing for comps. It's not a real big area but should be enough to do what I want. There's enough dirt there to create a terrace about 1 foot high over part of it. There are a few rocks there but they are on the small side so I need to aquire some. I'm a cheapskate so I'm thinking of just running around and picking up the rocks that appear to be in the public domain along side the road. I'll have to borrow a trailer to do so though.

Anyways, I was wondering what you guys that have put together backyard courses have done, how you went about it, and post pics if you have them.
