| Integy Lathe 55t motor ? and cheap price http://www.rlhobbies.com/cart/prod_d...did=INTSCM5501 I found it here pretty cheap. I've seen it before for $29.99 so $17.99 is good, No? Anyone running one in a TXT? and if so with that much torque what are most people breaking? |

Yes, that is a good price. Stormer hobbies has it listed for $30. I don't think you would break anything with it, becuase the RPM's are so low

the price for that motor at your LHS is $19.99.. i just bought one the other day and now i just have to wire it all up..CHSracing( here on the board) has 2 of those motors on his trucks and says he loves them...so im gonna give it a shot too also, you can go to www.integy.com and they list it for $19.99 also. so whoever is selling them for $30 is kinda rapeing people 8O

I love how these motors are catching on. Anything less that $20 bucks is a great deal. I've been using a pair in my crawler for a while now and really enjoy them. I use them on a clod based crawler though running them in series. Running these motors in a parallel fashion would simply be way to slow as the parallel setup cuts the motor in half (winds and turns). I hope you enjoy them, your going to love the battery run time. are these motors made to be used in a lathe and you guys are putting them in a truck instead of a lathe?

If you look on www.integy.com they actually show two different lathe motors there. One sells for $19.99 and the other for $25.99. The cheaper one looks to have a lower end endbell and bushings, the more expensive one has a nicer endbell and bearings. I doubt there is much difference performance wise between the two. Last I checked the more expensive one was out of stock. I've got one in my TLT and love it. with a 5 cell (just reduced from 6) I'm getting about an hour of run time from my Sanyo 2400 cells. |
