bajabeast, I think that is almost impossible to answer, especially when the truck has been modified. It is almost endless what one can do to a rc crawler, and it seems like no one does the same exact modifications. Reliability depends on too many different things, like the parts used, the craftsmenship of the customizations done, how much duct tape and super glue used . You see my point? I think if you ask what is the most dependable stock (out of the box) truck then you might get some answers. |

I'm thinking he means the guts of the truck, as in axle parts, gears, and stuff like that. So do the gears in a clod strip out at all, do you break steering knuckles, that kind of stuff... That's how I would pose the question.

My shit (TXT) is brand new and I am constintly working on it! But I am also hacking the shit out of it. The only thing I see breaking is my bank account! I would have to give a vote for the TXT axels for versatility and durabilty. |

The only thing that breaks on my TXT are the NON-TXT parts.

im happy as can be with my Maxx. The last one i built, i hardly had a problem with it( one axle broke). but like it has been said, you can make an almost bulletproof anything. my sons' truck that i built( emaxx everything except for the lathe motor, pede trans, pede esc) has not broke anything at all. but yet its running all cvds and the lathe motor doesn't seem to have enough power to break parts. which is a good thing for the throttle happy boy |

The most liable? Liable to finish last has gotta be the diggler! The captain is now sportin 1/4-20 all thread links sleeved in 5/16" steel brake lines with 1/8 scale ends now. It's gone from most likely to break a link to least likely. |

I'd vote Clod. There is the option for steel/aluminum everything. I rarely break mine and I do some pretty stupid stuff!!!! actually, as of late I have been able to break NOTHING even on 10-15' falls off rock cliffs... You guys should see the wheelin in Flagstaff!! NOTHING LIKE IT!! Most obstacles are so nuts I can't even get up them, and I think I've got a pretty decent truck!! Rear steer would help immensely (Steep hills, no weight on front, cant steer fer chit!) |
