Default Pre-Made Tuber

Who has the best pre-made tuber design?
I'm thinking of going this route instead of a frame/body for my WK. I don't want one of those itsy bitsy tiny ones but a fairly good size where I can still all of the running gear inside the tuber.

that is really impossible to say. Since you are dealing with a WK, I would probably recommend the Cobra from Beckworks. Do a quick search to see if it suites you.

well honestly I hav'nt looked at a WK so I don't know how diffrent the axles are. but with that being said check out the tuber that I've worked on for RPP Hobby. with the disign of it you can mount things in a number of diff. places. if it helps any the "frame" portion of the chassis is 3" to the outside of the "rails" and 2 1/2" to the inside. here is a link to it DH1 tuber DH Offroad DH1 Tuber Ready for Sale Limited Supply

I agree with ya there.

I already sent an e-mail to Beckworks inquiring about one of his designs.

You should be able to use any axle with any chassis, WK or not. If you are building a tuber truck, you should be able to fab a little. Myself, I am not impresed with cookie-cutter tubers.

Neither am I, but I'd like a good foundation, and then maybe add to it. I just don't have the tools available to me to make a tuber of my own. All of my stuff is in a storage unite while staying with my folks. I'm looking for something solid and easily expandable. But if I can chat with Beckworks about his BW-J3, I might be getting that one..... or I might go with a custom build.

The Rpp tuber looks very good and comes with links, link mounts and aluminum body panels. Corey has done a good job

at the very least you should be impressed with their overall sales numbers.

I remember way back in the day.... early '07 actually... when people had to make their own tube chassis.

Sure was, that's why it's at the powdercoaters right now. Better than new in about a week.
