Default Piggyback vs REmote Reservoir Shocks

Hi, everyone. What are the performance differences between piggyback and remote reservoir shocks? The piggybacks look nicer but somehow I think the remote reservoir performs better. I'm not sure though.

Dont think it is a very big difference between them, not for crawling anyway, but it gives ur truck a cool look especially for scale trucks and such.

You may find the remote resevior useful in your robot build if you need to dissapate any additional heat as that is what the shocks are designed for....more fluid volume to disipate the heat. Also the ability to locate the resevior away from any potential heat source may be useful.

THe reservoirs seem to be the same size between piggyback and remote (except for the extra volume in the line for the remotes. I'm trying to decide between the RC4WD X11s. I guess the positioning away from heat sources thing is more for nitros. Can't see any heat sources that would be hot enough to matter on the robot right now.
