|  DIG QUESTION: ???4wd/REAR FREE WHEEL/Rear Locked???
I've been trying to read up on Dig setups (for my AX10) and have found that there can be 3 positions (if desired) depending on design... 4wd, Rear Free wheel & Rear Lock Would someone please explain the benefit of needing/using the "Free Wheel" position? Thanks in Advance, RCholic |

There have been times where I needed to use the front tires to help pull the front over an obstacle. 4wd it tries to go over backwards, 2WD locked it might not want to drag the rear wheels so it would be freewheel until the front gets a bite then 4WD. Granted, it seems to be more useful to have the rear locked as opposed to freewheel but there are times when freewheel is used as well. This is just my .02, but I like having the choice between the two. |

The freewheel dig helps when climbing a steep ledge, and also helps out when you want to settle your suspension if it gets bound up.
