i did mine just using a 3/16 drill bit to drill out the screw holes to fit the led drill a small hole in the bottom of each bucket for the wires. after the led is in fill the bucket up with epoxy or hot glue to mount the led and fill in around it.

are the clod light fixtures hollowed out? Is it a bowl shape of just half a circle with plastic on the inside? Cause I want to get some light dishes for my scaler project, but I don't want to buy those ram lights since they are way over priced. Can I get a measurement on the outside diameter of the dish too? Thanks!

they are bowl shaped but hey have a screw boss in the center that can be easily removed to be completly hollowed out. they are about 3/4" on the outside and about 1/2" deep

Here are the Clod lights I used for headlights on Guido. I just drilled a hole through the back. I used these LED holders in the hole and then put in my LED's. There are cheaper LED's out there if you look on Ebay or something. I still need to make a lens but I didn't need to glue them in. |
