| TLT frame into SCALE frame
Wasn't sure were to post this so I put it here. For those who want to use up what they have. Here is how to make a scale frame out of a tlt frame. Without searching or anything, I have never seen this before so I thought I would show my idea. I will acually be creating this so if you want to see how it worked out, stay tuned. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...ofDSC00795.jpg its rather straight forward. #1 and #2 will have to be added to the end of the frame for more length (cutt where the red lines are). The bottom of it can be used to fill in gaps and or for shock mounts (cheaply drawn on bottom frame) Hope you understand what I am getting at. Ask any questions you have. I explained it the best I could so far. |

i see a flaw in your plan, part 3 once cut will be in 2 pieces due to the belt and spur gear holes. nice idea though |

I seen that too. I figured seens I have to attatch 1 and 2, to lengthen it, mise well just patch the gaps too. If the idea wasn't to use what you have, and go low cost... then I would scrap it all. I just thought it would be neat to try this out and if I can find the best possible way that works well and if people like/try/use it then mission accomplished!

You'll figure something out man. Good luck with this one though it could be tricky.

We'll seens this came along: Leaf Spring TLT Scaler Chevy Hard Body The motivation left when it came to finishing this project using the stock TLT frame. However I will leave the idea out there as I'm sure it would work if a person pop rivited it all together! |
