Default Backyard wheelin with the Mini scaler

Not much of an update just some mock up paint, new wheels and tires. I Put the rock creepers on hummer wheels and i love the look. We have started to build a rock course in our back yard. I get more rock everyday. I want to make a running river and a mud hole.

Thats a cool mini rig. Did you have to chop the k2 chassis to get it to fit that new bright body?

No i used krylon primr and it sticked fine, then i used a light coat of some crappy silver paint then the green, so when it scratches it looks like bare metal. I should have used a good paint for the silver because the green chips off a little too easy.

How are those tires? I'm thinking about them but don't know if they need alot of weight to start to run well.

They work really good, i like them alot better than the stock mini crawler tires. Plus they are way more scale than the claws.

do the tires seem to hook up well? I'm really interested in them, but after spending too much $$ on other tires from RC4WD, and having them not work at all, I'm kind of leary about spending more $$. Do they seem to stay glued to the wheels well?
