| Hobby Gear Scale Accessories
Im sure you all have seen this stuff on ebay, being the scale whore that I am I decided to buy some of it up and see how it is. I took a bunch of pics for you guys to see it up close and I will give you my thoughts on it. 1st one I cracked open was the keg with propane tank and bungees 1st thing I noticed is the attention to detail in the stickers, check that out Next up was the jerry can, fire extinguisher and pick axe again, awesome sticker detailing, you can read all the warnings and directions on the fire extinguisher label Next up was the Hi-Lift Jack, water cooler, and axe Cool thing is that the Jack handle does move as well as the handles on the water cooler They made the Jack a good size, here it is next to a home made one I got off a member of scale 4x4 Comparison shot of the Jerry can, a little bit small but still nice (From left to right: Hobby Gear, Wild Willy, Scale Off Road) Items in the back of the Atomic Toy Items next to the Atomic Toy Over view... I think this stuff is pretty cool, certainly has some good detailing and definitely proportionate to the scale crawlers we build. The price point is pretty fair although shipping would be insane if buying just one but I bought 3 and the combined it for me. What I dont like is that they are "toyish" looking...paint is all very glossy, however, I think with some weathering they will look pretty damn good |

I think it would be swell if someone put every single piece of Hobby Gear Accessories on 1 rig and painted it all to look rusted! Even the keg, EVERYTHING! |

Thanks for the write up 1bjb, always a plus to see the items next to a rig before ordering so you can actually get a size refrence. I hope someone does this with PL's scale stuff... |

| Nice find.! Brotha', But those price's + shipping SUCK 2
Yup, that alot of money to spend on dressing up our rig's some...!!! But, with a good hand at slowly craving in out of plastic, or soft wood then throw some detailing & wethhering in to them too... I bet alot of us fella's could do a pretty good job of making up some homemade scale looking stuff too, Shit one of MY HOMIE's on here has made alot of great looking scale Item's and working item's all by his own self & hand's too.... And I see me spending about 100.00 buck on all this stuff and that could go to making a whole new rig too... Yup-per's Try the PRO-BASS-SHOP-STUFF... and see the different's too there's alot of great item's that I'm, using from those playset's, and I just give all that I don't use from alot of those play set to my grandson to play around the back yard with too.... So, I'm, not wasting a dime either by going that route for now.... But, Thank's for showing all these great scale Item's standing up next to a 1/10th scale so we all can see what you be getting if we was to go ahead and JUMP on this stuff too.........................................Scoot' er

Not really all that much money considering what some vendors have sold parts for in the past. I personally would rather work/build something thats not available and save my time for that then spend time building a Hi-Lift jack that is readily available. | ||

Thanks for bitting the bullet on this one Mike. Now I'll order a set I agree. Why spend hours building this shit when you can just buy it and work on something else. I love the highlift. I will def' be weathering mine. |
