| Gd600
I scored an LR3 detailed body and interior, and ws thinking of making it into a scaler. Ive been searching for transfer cases, and found the one I want, but couldnt find anywhere to get a gd600 unit. I think it will fit pretty well under the hood. Anyways where can i get one? Searched for an hour and didnt find anythign but info on it

you need different pinions or turn down the shaft on the gd600 so it fits our standard pinion if i recall correctly

You can drill out the center of alot of pinions to fit the GD600 shaft. The diameter of some pinions is to small to drill that much though - I forget the tooth count. |

I run motor/HPIgru/gd600 to transfer case on the montero hpi is silver, gd600 the black one mated to it and motor/HPI gru to axial trans as tcase on the pajero Jtop both will work just fine, but the HPI gear reduction unit (the silver one) needs the output shimmed up from 4mm to 5mm if you run driveshafts off it. if you do HPI to gd600 you wont have issues. the hpi to axial tcase is still faster than the standard 87/14 geared standard setup. lets talk on the 26th if you make it out. |
