Default need help with mounting shocks on homade chassis

i have 4feet of 1/8''x3/4'' aluminum bar and and im trying to make a chassis and there is no bends up for shock hoops and i need some ideas on how to mount my shocks. any ideas wecome

You could make a tab out of the same material that bolts to the outside of the chassis rail. Then just cut it to whatever height that you need.

yep, just make flat tabs that bolt to the chassis and have holes for your shocks.

god it seems when i go to build something i always miss the obvis and just skip over it thanks guys

so i tired a few diffrent things and the only thing that works is the plate! god it looks like crap! but it works fine i guess i still have to get the last 3 made and get them mounted wow i kina like this chassis and hate it at the same time!

Cut the plates on an angle and round off the corners.It'll look better.Here is a pic of my home made chassis with mounts for the shocks.

ok i got it running and let sjust say it works not much flex due to some binding but im going to make a braket to drop the tranny and lower links so i dont get the horrible axle steer that it has now its like 4 wheel steer
