| how wide is your trailer?
im looking into building a 1/10 scale trailer and was wondering how wide some people are making them

youl want your rig to have the tires hang off the sides a little for that cool factor

since youre going to be towing to a comp spot, it will most likely be fairly bumpy. id go 1/2 to 3/4 inch wider than your track width. this way you can mount tie down straps on if you want and it will look legit as hell.

I wish I knew about the cool factor before I built mine :-(. Mines at 9.75in wide for my 1.9 which is about 9.00-9.25 depending on which hexes are on it. Though if I out a 2.2 on it, it will hang over.

I built mine wide enough to tow my 2.2 comp rig with the tires hanging off the sides. The scale rigs have some wiggle room. Overall width is 9.5" Last edited by rckjeep; 07-10-2009 at 01:40 AM. |
