Default HPI gear reduction unit on R2HD trans

Someone Know if HPI GRU will fit in a R2HD trans ?

For like 10 sec I was like "If he wants it to be as fast as an ant, why does he want a low gearing???" and then I was like, Oh cause ants are slow duhh. The word fast threw me off lol

in the first vid, at 2:57 you get a quick shot of the underside, and if you pause it you can see that it looks like an R2 in there, it's definately not a bruiser 3 speed.

If you were to run a 65T with a 10T pinion gear, it would be that slow with the R2 tranny.

It'll bolt up just fine, with some filing they'll even bolt up to an R2D. But....like everyone has said you're going to be going far slower than you think when you mate the R2 with the 7:1 reduction in the hpi gru
