Default RC4WD 1\18 axle users: ujoints....here..

U-joints:

Driveshafts:
https://sdp-si.com/eStore/Direct.asp?GroupID=545

The .125" bore are the ones. There is a telescoping driveshaft that can easily be shortened as well as single and double jointed universals. I'll post up pics of mine once I get a minute. Be sure to get them "with insert" if you want a set screw.

I am using a double jointed universal for the front axle and a telescoping shaft for the back. Another double jointed universal will be used to connect a micro gear motor to the Micro T transmission (acting as a transfer case). Only slight mods to the bore of the u-joints on the t-case ends and shortening of the shaft will be necessary for this to work.

You're welcome.

I have gotten a few things from there for other projects. Quite the selection.

This is the first time that I have ordered from there and I am very pleased... extremely fast shipping. These u-joints are very well made as well.

For those who are not aware of Global Spec, I suggest using it's search engine anytime you are looking for a weird mechanical part, gear motors and robotics stuff etc.

Are you going to have a build thread for this rig? I am interested in doing something like this.
