I picked up an original Clod Buster body this week as well as about 14 lexan bodies. My daughter-in-law found R/C bodies on Craigslist in the FREE section. The deal was that you had to take all or nothing. I could tell from the picture that there was at least 1 hardbody. |

Oops I forgot to post this picture. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? This is the only real damage. The drip rails are damaged too but I think that should be a pretty easy fix. Last edited by gyrene; 10-23-2009 at 04:15 AM. |

if it just a bend you could heat it up and bend it back. A skilled hand and proper use of a heat gun, or really hot water on the pillar, but not sure if that would work. I know they work on models.

I am just learning to work with styrene so I am not that skilled. But, am thinking that a little heat and some patience might work.

go to autozone and pick up there Vinal and leather repair kit, take the tool and throw the rest away, you now have a 60$ plastic welder for 10$ use the heat off the tool from a distance along with brake line ziptied to the pillar to hold it straight!

| I will get some posted up later. I may have to check into this. If nothing else i can probably take a piece of brake line, zip tie it to the pillar and heat it up with a hair dryer. |

good looking late models.. I would just heat a little bit at a time and don't go to fast. If you can tape something behind it so you don't go to fast...maybe a pop sickle stick?? |

Lot of cool late 80's early 90's oval bodies, like the rally body, could make for a fun project.
