| Nissan titan body????? =(
Is there anywhere i can buy a nissan titan 1:10 rc truck?? I have been seraching forever now and cant seem to find any results that are in the US. I want a nissan titan 2 door extended cab ior a 4 door hard body for my scaler but i cant find one anywhere. I know i can always buy a parma body but it doesnt look as real, plus we all know that the hard bodys are just way cool. I know that nikko makes a 1:10 titan but i cant find any links to one under $60 the original price of the truck. Do you guys know where i can get one? i am really into getting one of these bodies.

$60 is about right. Considering how rarely you see them I'd snatch that up if I were you (and wanted one as badly as you seem to). Small price to pay for having a unique body. I've only ever seen the 1:6 scale Titan hard body. |

I have always just thought of buying a parma body and adding some styrene and some bondo onto the lexan to make it seem more real, but having to paint the styrene on the outside and the lexan on the inside would be a big pain. Bondo does stick to lexan right? ive never tried it...

that would seem kinda hard, as cool as the tundra is... a titan is edgy and sharp while a tundra is rounded and bulk. I think an 09 f150 would be easier to convert but they dont have much of those either...

Also, you'd paint the entire thing on the outside, even the lexan, if you did that. My Range Rover Classic is a lexan shell with a bunch of styrene added for detail (front grill, rear hatch, side skirts, etc). Looking at the Titan I would agree the Ford would be a better place to start. You could start with a hilift body and shape that. You'd have some work on the bed sides to flare it a bit and lots of work on the front grill, rear lights and hood area but you could make that work. Its a big project though. Really big. | |
