| Anyone making frames for the NewBright/FastLane JK bodies?
Just wondering if anyone has one in production. Curious to see if I have any options. I really don't have the resources to cut and fab my own. so I was hoping some had a frame that would work. |

MSD (a vendor here) makes the UTE chassis that has diffrent lengths, so they have one. I am nto affiliated with them, so you will have to ask them for more info, but check out their site. Now if I only could get one myself, I could get the project off the bench... |

Good to know. Thanks for the tip. Just searched and found some nice builds. Now I need to save up another $100 for a frame and accesories. Last edited by goldmember; 11-30-2009 at 07:57 AM. |

Montana Scale Designs actually built a jeep JK on one of their UTE chassis and another guy in my club built a JK on their 12" UTE chassis. I believe it works very well and I know MSD builds top notch stuff. Here is a link to the chassis. http://www.montanascaledesigns.com/s...products_id=73 Ben (unimoger) is a very helpful guy, if you have any questions just go to the Montana Scale Designs section in the vendor area and him or slobin3d will get you headed in the right direction. |

I'll custom make any frame you want. As long as it's made from aluminum. Coill, leaf spring, body and bumper mounts, roll cage. What do you need? |

how scale are you looking for? Something like my "Beach Patrol" rig? If so, we could put something together pretty easily.

I've bugged you enough! I'm just looking to get a nice looking frame up there for the new tough truck class that NERCC is running next year. Figured the JK would be a good platform. |

Toxic Fabrication has a chassis specifically for the New Bright JK. I think from the looks of it, it is meant for linked suspension.

You could also get some 1/2" square steel tubing from Home Depot and a torch and bend one up in a vise yourself. It's not as difficult as you might think. And it's very rewarding to roll your own.

The SCX-10 chassis fits pretty well under the JK, nice, inexpensive alternative. Plus they are easy to find.
