Default Toy Story "Pizza Planet" delivery truck

So I have a midnight crusher (hilux) body sitting in my parts box along with a MRC drive train . I was not going to use the body because I wanted something different . Seems like everyone has a hilux and everything has been done to them . I want a new project because project "Hillbilly Deluxxx" is going to be getting wrapped up soon. What do you guys think of this ?

Now the problem is where would I get the rocket on top and the stickers on the side ? My little cousin had a little kid rc truck of this and it had the rocket on it . Anyone out there know where I could get my hands on one ?

Like I said I like being different . But it is hard these days so give me your opinion . What do you guys think ?

Haha, that would be cool.

The little rocket should be easy enough, just check out nose cones in the model rocket section of your LHS for the right sizes and cut and splice two of them together. Browse toys r us for something that would work also or maybe just go overboard and get a 1.5x.1.5x3 chunk of delrin and your angle grinder out and form it by hand

Yes! why would you not think people would like this? The rocket should be easy to make from scratch. Also has anyone made a bedcap for their truck before? that would be cool too. Make sure you get all the rust details too lol.

Ya well now that I look at it I guess it should not be all that hard . Once my other project is wrapped up (hopefully about a week from now) I will make the final decision if I will make this or not. But so far I am leaning hard toward go for it.

No it will be a 4x4. I just liked the looks and thats what I would be going for. It would perform like any other scaler / trail truck out there .

Oh and I like the idea of buzz tryin to get out lol

you can make the rocket out of styrofoam. wrap it with it with some heat shrink plastic.

LOL. I was just watching Toy Story the other day, and thought that it would be a killer truck to do a build on as well.
