Either you can elaborate on your issue or I can delete it Please keep in mind the vendor bashing rule when doing so...

they are not strong enough to hold up to a stock hilux, apply any power and they bend into an S. I looked and asked about these springs before purchasing them so, this thread is more of a reveiw on the performance of the springs. I would not recomend them to anybody that will use their rig. But if you have the poser shot on the shelf, these might be your spring. Just in case someone else wants to look into buying them.

Most people who make delrin leafs typically suggest you run a track bar on the rear, did you try them with track bar?

a track bar locates the axle from left to right under the chassis. To fix this you would need to either run a traction bar, under the leaf would be best, or a 3rd link on top of the pumpkin. The problem isn't side to side movement of the axle. I just want to run a basic leaf spring set up without clearance eating traction bars that will also limit flex. I know flex is not that great with a leaf anyhow. I just wanted everything I guess, but who doesn't? I thank you for your suggestions though. Can't I just get four link flex with simple leafspring tech and still look scale. Waaaaaa |

For a set of traction bars that don't rob you of ground clearance and still allow you to flex decent here is an idea that I use on my 1.1 There is a bar on the top side of the springs that runs to the front hanger(you might have to blow the picture up to see it). I have wheeled this truck a ton and they help a ton. This could be adapted into the RC world fairly easy. Heres a better pic of these type of bar... |

"they are not strong enough to hold up to a stock hilux" that4byguy If the spring is to light a traction bar won't help. Every leaf sprung rig should have a link to the frame to stop axle wind up and wheel hop. Evan |

That4byguy, if you want I can put the pic of the truck in action up so people can see how bad it really is?
