Default the MegaWilly Body Pattern set full-sized!

Image Warning-These are huge, because they print ACTUAL-SIZED (at 300dpi).
Print these all out, and splice them at the red lines to make a full-sized pattern for making a custom jeep body like my Megawilly has:

Assembled from .063" ABS sheet (www.interstateplastics.com), it weighs less than one third as much as a Tamiya Wild Willy2 body, which it emulates.

However, the hood's been made one inch longer, and now it is a 'high-hood' layout, with the bigger dashboard and more room up front for electronics (or a Parma Hemi?).
Included in these patterns are the parts for the bumpers as well.

The two body sides, the hood trim panels, the back half of the rear deck.

Moving down, the rest of the interior (triple-lines here denote bend locations), its lower area here is the lower half of the firewall.

Under that, the upper part of the front fender mono part:
There are two ways of doing the front fenders. Separate, like my built prototype, or as a single formed chunk that has them all in one part.
I'll render this later to make it more clear, because it really simplifies things. To the right, the hood main, and under that, the part at lower rt is the transmission cover.

The nose and below that, the dash cowl. Under that, the upper firewall. At right are the trim parts for the top of the dash, and at bottom right are the front fenders as separate items.

"f" and "g" are bending forms for the interior and one-piece front fenders. at right are the inner front fenderwells.
The bottom of this page shows a top and side view of the assembled body, full-sized.

This page shows a top and side view of the assembled body, full-sized.

The front and rear bumper parts, and the body mounts, and then the rear inner fender panels.

I printed them on A4 from the PDF files and the first one was fine but the rest was HUGE
They were too big even for an A3 size :-(

PDF 1 is 10,24" x 8,19" at 100%
the rest is 22,22" x 17,78" at 100%
Is that correct ?

Is the first one too small ??

Now if you could find the "pattern-measurements" for a M715 kaiser jeep ,the older deuce and a half military cab or a hemmt that would be cool I'd even ask you to sell me a copy.

I've realized that I forgot to re-size these for the PDF versions, sorry. Development continues...I'll get these re-processed later today.

Well, I'm back in this saddle, Wifey's Daddy died, so I had to go upstate to help with a few things for a few days. An immediate project, is a drum magazine, designed for a German MP40 Submachinegun...OK, it's an airsoft version.
Since none ever existed, I've got an easy draw job ahead on that.
I've stripped the axles off MegaWilly, gave the mondo tire set to Wifey for HER RC car, and have started building a BIG MACK AC C-Cab truck. 2WD to start, but tandem setups are on my mind...

Speaking of RedWilly, his bodywork got completely destroyed by one happy little kid She let play with it. I had an HOT 11volt LiPo in it, so he's gonna be an RC nut for life! I should have filmed the thing for Youtube, as I'm telling him to keep going as he literally smacks it into everything (he was 7, and had never, ever, driven an RC before), bits and pieces coming off front, back, right and left...I'll take pics of the carnage in the morning.
I've always considered the Tamiya WildWilly2 BODY to be Immortal, and I'm here to tell you, he bleeds. The thing is DUSTED, I won't even attempt to save it.

Got to get back on the fire engine stuff, got one of my M2HB' on ebay, and once it's gone, I'll go buy another truckload of fresh ABS sheet to play with. ROBOTS are also on my mind, and maybe a BOAT or two..

Hmmm...

PDF's: Gave them all a bicubic resampling, overhauled their neurons, flaxxed the circumfers of all of them.

...They all should print on 8.5x11"/A4 now.

wow, my last M2 is doing well on Ebay!
