Just curious, what are the most common motors that might be found in different 1:1 crawlers? I know that's a wide open question but from the scale builds I see here I'd say: Jeep inline 6 GM LS1 GM 427 Toyota 22RE |

dont forget the ford guys! 302s, 351s, my fave big block 460s. probly 4.6 and 5.4 mod motors too. the small block chevy 350 is also a very common powerplant

I would imagine it depends on where you are in the country, the southern boys like their big blocks, the toyota guys like the 22re' 2/3rz's, west coast guys like their small blocks ect...

Most of the local ones around here are old non roller gen 1-2 350 chevy, toyota 22re and a few early 90's 302's mostly converted to carb.

I think sbc has it, I think alot of guys in CO. seem to be running them on propane so the crawlers stay running even upside down. lol It seem to really depend on what others talk you into..imo lol As for the question. I think people look more for what fits or what they find to go in the scale rigs if that is what your really wanting to know.
