| Worked on my backyard crawlin area... found a surprise!
So.... The nice thing about living up against a wash with a view fence... the view. The bad... critters will find their way in. Like this Diamondback Rattler!!! He was about 18" long, and had 4 rows of rattles. I was out in the back yard playing with the crawler IN that rock area, and decided to start moving some rocks around. Well, after grabbing HIM and a rock, I slammed the rock on him, and got the shovel. Had my nerves railed, After checking and moving the rock pile, and re-arranged it, making new lines and obstacles. Attached are pics of the snake, the new rock setup, and the Honcho. Enjoy! |

Did you use the snake as traction? Everyone should have that "Crazy" buddy. 13 rows of rattle and evident there were more cut off. Almost to Rubicon springs from Cadillac hill. We didn't kill it and eat it for some reason. Some of us were thinking we might have saved someones life by taking it out, but they found a place to put it away from anyone. |

Holy hell. I came across one rattler. When i was 1:1 wheeling. We let it go on by. But if ever come across one like you did, you just as well to kill right me there cause i'd fall over dead.

I say mount the head on the hood or hand the rattle from the rear view mirror. |

I heard there were no poisonous snakes in Maine. I wouldn't consider living there for only that reason, though. Just respect the snakes and you get to live!

Where in Tucson are you located? Seeing Rattlesnake for us is like seeing stray Dogs and Cats around here. After all they should be our state animal |

What a coincidence, I went out near the house yesterday to load up some rocks for my crawler course and found this guy after grabbing just a few rocks. I tried to catch and him and relocate but it just couldn't happen safely so he met his demise! He was only about 14" long and had two buttons on his rattle. |

guys watch out for your state laws reguarding killing rattlesnakes....here in pa you will get in big trouble killing one without a permit, that is only good for one rattler a year and only during a 6 week season to collect them....posting up that you killed one in an online forum might just get you a visit from local authorities with a fine waiting to get handed out....just poke them with a stick and they will move on ...........bob .... |
