| 1949 f1 ford truck body??
Growing up my Dad had this truck converted to 4x4 and looking just like this photo.. The thing was bad ass looking and I miss it.. Was hoping to build a scale project but I can't find any body's. Does anyone know of a body for 1/10 or 1/24? Thanks for your help.[ |

at the top it says 200mm. thats standard 1/10 scale onroad. you could easily use a set of d40s and 1.55s on it.

Is that Bolink website still active? I ordered a body there about a year ago and all it did was take my money. All contacts are deadend links. I eventually got my cc company to issue me a refund. As for the F1 - why not scratch build one? You can all those details that you just don't get with lexan bodies and it's a lot of fun. |

Search this forum and on RC4X4, there was a great build of an early model Willy that comes to mind. The material you are looking for is styrene; US Plastics is one of the cheapest sources I have found. I am currently building a '46 PowerWagon that has lots of curves. Some you can build up and sand down to get the shape others you need to vacuum form. I built myself a vacuum form table for less than $10 and it works just fine. Be creative and do some searching (research) then just go nutz! |
