Default Frick park trail run 9/26/10

Jake and I went on a 3 hour trail run at Frick this past Sunday, and I think it was one of the best times we've ever had there. Somehow we keep finding cool new spots, and on Sunday, it was a great muddy swamp area.
Our trail run had it all, trails, water crossings, light rock crawling, and thick and deep mud in a swamp.

We were having so much fun that we didn't take many pics (I didn't even bring my camera, I used Jake's camera to take all but the first two pics.) here's a few from the trail run.

Jake's CC01

Finding a new trail through the swamp.

There were these very cool waterways/trails that were interconnected.

The waterways/trails lead to an open swamp area.

Pushing through the brush.

The mud was starting to get thick and deep.

Well and truly stuck, My truck was so heavy (10 lbs.) and having such narrow tires (Mud Pluggers) my truck kept sinking into the mud. I've never gotten stuck so many time on a trail run before...it was a blast.

Some very scale shots in there, looks like it was fun.

Still not sure why RC4WD called those 'Mud Pluggers'. They do not really look like a mud tire, which you proved.
