| Vasquez Rocks run 3-26-11
Me and the boys did a quick run at Vasquez Rocks. I haven't used these trucks since July. Run was cut short do to the Chevy having 2 tires come unglued, maybe the water had something to do with it. Then the stupid gears started skipping in the wrangler. I just did the gear cover modification and the glue on the spur gear. Last edited by 59sled; 03-26-2011 at 10:51 PM. |

Pablo and I met there with the Brats years ago. Wish we had a location like that here in Washington. Spent a full day there and didn't get to see 1% of all the area.

| Pretty sure I was there when you came down with the Brat. Was yours redish in color and running a brushless system? I remember one of them have lots of wheels speed, then something breaking on it?

Yep that was mine. No brushless but I was running a 19T I think at that time. I tore up the body and I think at the very end I killed a ring gear in the rear diff. Really thinking about building a 2.0 of that truck with all updated running gear. It was a good truck to drive the MSD Ute chassis was a great base to build from. |

I think I might just buy a rig while I'm out therep prob just a rtr honch or the new wraith if I can find one, unless one of my SoCal brothers has a nice scaler to sell me? Box stock can only be so fun; it's all in the details.......

I just adjust my throttle trim setting on the transmitter, going down hill I set it to the point where reverse just about kicks in. That way when you let off the throttle reverse starts to grab. Just do the opposite going up hill. I put marks on the transmitters so there is no guessing where to move them. | |
