| Scale T-case WITH DIG
SO i have been wanting a scale transfer case with a dig for awhile, Cad 2 Chrome is the only place that has a really cool shiftable t-case but it was designed to shift from 4WD to 2WD. After looking it over i helped Chuck @ Cad 2 Chrome convert this to have a dig function instead of 2WD. NOTE it can be purchsed as a 2wd/4wd or 4wd/dig I have been testing it for a few weeks now and it is indestructable, I have shifted it into dig at full throttle with a 18.5 brushless motor. (Not that anyone would need to do that) but i really wanted to make sure how strong it will be. This is still the prototype and these should be in production very soon. They will be $150 when ready The final case design will vary slightly from what you see here. Last edited by 1badxj; 06-04-2011 at 10:41 AM. |

Very nice looking unit This well be a hot item for sure, Being a t-case and having dig is bad ass. Would be sweet to see a vid of it in action Is the servo going to have a mount on the tranny or on the chassis?

SO far the servo mount in on the chassis, If it is ontop of the t-case i limits your room for interior on the body. Hope to have a vid real soon, have some technical issues with vid equipment | |

The 1:1 scale rigs have Dig options in comps, The Atlas 2 from advance adaptors is a highly used t-case with dig function , Anyway all the rules i read say Class 3 can have dig I can't understand why a person would want a t-case that shifted from 4WD to 2WD in a toy R/C rig, The point of having it in a real 1:1 scale rig is so you can hit the paved roads and cruise 60 + MPH. When will you be doing this in a 1/10 scale rig comp? |

| Everyday duh!! Lol just kidding, but I think the main reason why people would want the ability to switch to 2wd is strictly for scale purpose, just so they know it's pretty scale being able to do that

I'd rather have a 2/4wd transfer case sticktly for scale reasons. I am sure someone would want a dig on a scaler even though it's not allowed in all but mod.

| THey will be in production very soon , I am done bash testing the proto and it work great now even with brushless. On flat concrete its like having a E-brake pulled @ 50mph I don't really want it for comp purposes, just for a more scale realistic rig, but on the topic of comps: Alot of 1:1 rigs i run with around here have the Atlas 2 t-case (which this scale t-case is suppost to represent) and they are street rigs also not class 3 rigs or buggies. So i don't understand why a class 2 rig can't have a dig option? Even the scale rules read as such; Class-2 "Trail" *discription - A stock vehicle that has been MODIFIED to become a CAPABLE trail rated rig & is not neccessarily street legal Anyway, Cad To Chrome is going to be making a batch of these and would like to know how many of you would be interested in one. They are going to be $150 shipped in the Cont US. You can PM CadtoChrome here or go the there web site. SOrry i haven't been able to get a video of it , having alot of tech errors. |
