Talking WooHoo! Wraith Diff cover on AX-10 axles!

I'm sure someone has already done this, but I had to share..The cover is nonremoveable...
I shaved the stock axle case to accommodate the cover..notched out the cover on the left side to reach the bolt heads, and flipped the right side bolts (nylock nuts under cover, bolted from rear)..It was not a exact fit ( I didn't think it would be), but it was a lot closer than I thought.

I sealed the diff on the exterior with IC2000, and shoo-goo on the inside..took it out FOFFing today and its holding strong.

That does look pretty good. And it looks so much larger on the SCX10 axle. I haven't seen a Wraith in person. I knew it was larger and that picture helps judge the size.

I wonder if you could mount one of those with say extra stock size beadlock screws, etc. I think they would be small enough (screws) just not sure if there is enough material to screw them into on the axle. I may have to grab that spare parts tree (covers) and give it a whirl. I like the contrasting color to the black axle as well

The only issue I see is the cover getting pulled off by rocks. Looks like it hangs down below the axle a tiny bit in the lower corners. May have to be ground down to hope to stay put.

There is not enough material ..also, the footprint of the cover is different than the shape of the case, so I had to recreate some material between them (that's where the IC200 came in..)

It does hang out in the corners a couple mm's, but since this will end up being a FOFF rig, it doesn't bother me too much..If i was crawlin with it, I would definitely trim the corners..
