Default New Bright Prep

Searched and didn't find so I'll ask. Does anyone have a tried and true method of easily removing the glue from the attached trim etc from New Bright bodies? Obviously I want to paint it...I got the "experience edition" and the big X paint scheme is hideous! I plan on trying a heat gun but I just hope the glue melts before the body does.
Thanks In Advance for any help...

I've read that acetone free nail polish remover works.

My cousin did the brake cleaner and sanding route. His rig came out really nice. I'll see if I can find a picture to post...

I used acetone free fingernail polish remover to take the "New Bright" off the windshield and it worked very well, I dont know if it will work on the body graphics

I will try the polish remover for the graphics...does anyone have any ideas as far the big glue blobs that hold on the windshield, roof rack, lights etc?

I usually peel the sticker off as best I can then use Goo Gone Pro Power to get the rest. Leave it on for a few minutes and it should come right off. Used it on the windshield and body with no problems.

+1

And for the paint on the body DOT 4 brake fluid (must be DOT 4 only) works like a charm. Some you also need to keep in mind is that some of their bodies have a dull coat on them so you'll need to scrub or San the whole body to get to bare plastic.
