Default Stowing snatch blocks, tow shackles, etc.

Where/how do you guys stow these things on your rig? I'm trying to figure out the best way to rig them so that they're accessable easily (i.e. not buried in a small toolbox or something like that), but secure enough that they won't get lost when I'm out bashing.

The other scale stuff that I have on the truck for appearance only is easy; shoe-goo is amazing. It's just not a solution for a snatch block, at least not if you want to use it.

I'm thinking of trying to fabricate some sort of tube rack with a spring loaded or locking gate that I can slide the gear on, lock it up, and have it secure, but easy to get at. Any other genius ideas?

I bought a couple of micro threaded quick links from Ace Hardware and attached them to the base of my roof rack and hook every thing to them. It's sorta unscale but I don't want to loose my Rogue Elements snatch blocks... they seem pretty rare. I also attached my R2J pull pall and some cable to them.

EDIT: You can see them in these 2 pics.
