A lot of 4 link guys run Power Stroke shocks on their scx10s at the comps I attend. They all seem to be very happy with them.

Adding height and flex will probably make it worse 99% of the time. Too much height it falls over, too much flex it ties itself in knots.

Biggest things you can do to a SCX10 to make it crawl better are 4 link rear, weight the wheels and try and get your battery as low as possible. Have a look around at the SCX sub forum and do a few searches. There is plenty of info out there on what works and what doesn't.

I'll 2nd the proline power stroke scaler shocks for a excellent upgrade. They have a longer shock body with same length shaft though, so you actually loose about 2-3mm of flex. Another good upgrade is the Axial aluminium bodied SCX10 shocks. They are the same as stock, just with aluminium bodies for some extra strength and smoothness.

As i said, have a good look around at what others have done. You'll get plenty of ideas and inspiration.
