Default jumping into scale need advice

I've decided to get a shafty an make a truck out of my clodbuster body and i want the narrowest axles that fit under the body. What do you guys suggest should i buy the axles and tranny separate or buy a a rig and throw the clodbuster body on it.

What do you guys think about the Trail Finder two or the Tamiya HiLux ? I'm thinking the axles are narrower than the Axial.

Tamiya f-350 or Tundra, t-Rex 40's or TLT's if you can find them.

TLT's would be best as they're narrow-est of those mentioned. The clod isnt the widest body so a lot of it depends on the overall look you're after. If you want a stock ish looking scale rig (like a weekend off roader) then the TLT's might be the way to go.
