| Scale to RC Crawler Advice
We do this on big rocks on 42" tires and I am wanting to get a scale version of a crawler. Will not be doing any comps I don't think, but am building a carry box in the FJ to carry my RC Crawler for when we are broke and not wheeling. We bought my buddy a RTR AX-10, but I am wanting a little more and a Spectrum based radio so no AM RTR stuff. I was looking at the ARTR Axial then the 3-4 pack radio, but is that the best route? Is there a better ARTR out there that I will get more value out of? I am trying to stick to $800 in the first set of buys as I don't want to take too much out of my wheeling budget. Post up your recommendations on what you would put out on real rocks and still have fun with on the comp courses? As I said I doubt we will be competitive but we do RC Helis and some of the dirt track cars and enjoy the RC world a lot. |
