Default Tuber Truggy! To paint, or not to paint...that is the question!

I bought this awesome tuber truggy from the very talented Warren.

Now I have this dilemma, Do i paint it black, or leave it bare metal? Normally painting a frame black would be a no brainer to me. I like the look of a simple black frame. However the metal work is so awesome on this im not sure if I should paint it, or leave it bare metal. Its all stainless steel.

What do you guys think?

If you're going to paint the body a different color, leaving it it's bare metal color would make a great contrast.

I'd leave it stainless.

You know you do good work when your customers are afraid to paint it!

No way i would paint that. That would be like covering hardwood floors with carpet, just no reason to.

that cab looks good on there.

i like the idea of metallic black on the cab. also i'm just throwing it out there, but the stainless takes powder coat very well.

sorry not much help on the "to paint or not to paint" issue.

can't wait to see how you finish it out.

Welds aren't stainless.

What rod? Just being stainless doesn't mean it won't rust.

I would go with white. White is the absence of color and it'll show all of the incredible lines and welds that Warren has done. I'm a sucker for a whit cage though...

You could also just put a clear enamel paint on the chassis and call it "good".

Yep, paint the cab black and leave the stainless. As said, it will really contrast the cage where as now it doesn't because they cage and cab are such a similar colour.
