Default Rckcrwlr is sending a WARN (ing) signal to all scale drivers

The WARN (ing) sirens went off when the mail came today...

Great packaging and graphics for both the winch and the wireless remote

The detail and size of this is amazing

I wanted to give a comparison to the old winches. This is the best I could do. It is definitely has a larger presence.

The spool looks bigger and holds 3' of Synthetic Line

Here is a front shot:

Now the coolest thing I have seen when it comes to scale accessories... They could have easily used a key fob like the last one, but really took it to the next level to have a scaled down WARN Remote. The remote or direct controller are both NO CREEP...

I was trying to find something to give you a reference and that everyone could relate to...what is that for people in the RC Hobby...Yeap the Cross Tool

Keep an eye out...I will be installing it tonight or tomorrow...

Is it replacing the old winch in rc4wd's lineup?

Yea, I'll definitely be getting one of these for my G6 and running it from my 4PLS...

Here is the complete package for the Warn Winch, Controller and Wireless Remote

I like two things about this Winch, right out of the gate...it includes mounting hardware (two sizes) and the mounting plate is threaded so you can attach it from underneath...much easier.

Being that the Rampage Recovery Bumper has the front screw holes enclosed from the bottom, I was able to thread through the mounting plate and into the "threaded", yes threaded holes in the bumper.... The rear ones I could reach from underneath.

So here it is mounted on the RC4WD Rampage Recovery Front Bumper for the SCX10 (On my GCM Skeleton J2 Chassis)

Of course the next thing is to find a place to put the Remote that is easily accessible when you are wheeling...

Nah...this won't work

How about this? Nah...I'll lose it when trying those undercuts...

This could work but it will be a knee buster...

I guess something like this would work...

Or this....

Are you familiar with the 3racing winch, does it look like that at all? It kind of does to me. Asking?

Why the Tamiya plug? Slightly annoying but I guess expected even though it shouldn't be. Nobody use's those. I do like that it's beefier.

Nice looking winch for sure. Has anyone done a pull test on it to see where it stalls at?

That is the "standard" plug, even though no one uses them...but it is what it is. Cut it off and put your preferred plug on...

Does it hold the line when you stop winching, seems like it just started releasing the tension after you hit the stop.

Do you have to hold the button on the remote like a real on or does it keep going once you push the button? Can't wait for these to be in stock, and looks like 3s is the way to go. Thanks for the video's

That looks really good. Do you happen to know the rating for the winch line?

This May be a noob question but how do you get power to this? A second battery?

Looks dam close to the 3racing unit. Prolly just a new case for the same old thing with a fancy new price.
