I've decided to build a pro mod monster truck myself. Based off of the Ground Pounder, it'll have yellow rims, a black chassis, and a yellow body with lightening bolts and I'm going to call it "Thunder Chicken".

Embrace the craziness lol
The kit and the rtr
The only difference is the trans
Kit comes with 2 speed
Rtr comes with single speed
Which i like i prefer the single speed over the 2 speed
Less clutter

I plan on driving it around and upgrade what ever breaks
Im also in contact with this guy from the philippines
Made to order jeepney from a tin can
Something like this

Itll be perfect for this tf2
But its going to be a low rider

I'm a fan of the Tekin FXR Paired up with a Tekin 35 motor or a Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster motor.

Instead of plasti dip I've uncased two fxrs coated everything but the buttons with two part epoxy been three years on the first one completely submerged several times and a year on the second one in my tf2 its been submerged as well and never had an issue plasti dip may peel and allow water in epoxy is solid and sealed no heat issues either

Its just 4 small screws holding the case together i mixed up a batch of epoxy and used a toothpick to apply it onto the board and carefully around the two buttons i did mine in two coats the lower part first let it set then the upper part after it all set just looked it over to make sure all gaps were filled between ghe boards and just epoxy around the bottom of the battery and motor posts not the entire post as they act as a heatsink biggest thing is just taking your time doing it slowly ensuring full coverage the only downside to this method is if something goes wrong with the esc in the future you cant remove epoxy like you could plasti dip but im not to worried about it

I run a 2 cell 2650 mah lipo battery. It fits perfect in between the frame and interior.

I also have the lights on my tf2 so a 5000mah 2s would be getting close depending on your throttle finger

I get 3 hours on a 3000mah 3s lipo and I'm trigger happy. I'd say for you a 5000mah or maybe a 6200 would be sufficient for 3 hours on flat ground probably.
